This merging of Contemporary & Transitional in 2019 created the Essentials for Living look. A true blend of eclectic materials, finishes and innovative designs combined with over 45 years of experience.

Star International Furniture's success began in 1977, providing dependable service to the contemporary furniture world. In 2002, Star International added a sister brand, Orient Express Furniture. Orient Express has remained on the cutting edge of transitional furniture design for 20 years with on-point trend forecasting. Merging Star International's contemporary designs with Orient Express' transitional style was a long-term goal for the company, achieved in 2019.

Within the EFL brand you will find a mix of designs that can either seamlessly blend together or be used to create dynamic contrasting environments. As always, each of the products presented are manufactured with a rigorous attention to detail and an uncompromising level of quality. EFL prides itself on offering the same great quality, style, and service its customers have relied upon for over four decades.

Headquartered in Foothill Ranch, CA, the company operated two quick-ship warehouses on the East (High Point, North Carolina) and West (Foothill Ranch, California) coasts. EFL sells via its Retail, Trade, and E-Commerce departments, as well as a Direct Container program.
